Over the years, Lipopette has welcomed hundreds of sailing school students from VogWeek, dedicated instructors, seasoned sailors chasing their first transatlantic, and families discovering the coastlines of Corsica.
Each of them left something behind. And that's precisely why VOGFLEET — the ship-owning company operating a fleet of six Lagoon catamarans between Marseille, Ajaccio, Propriano, and Le Marin in Martinique — simply couldn't retire her.
Within the VOG community, Lipopette holds a kind of quiet legend status — not the kind you can decree, but the kind you feel. As the sailors who've sailed her like to say, she has a wonderful karma.
Delivered to Tunisia, Lipopette was taken in hand by Bénéteau's specialist teams. Hulls, deck, deck hardware, interior fittings, engines, electrical systems — nothing escaped scrutiny, nothing was left to chance. Every component was assessed, then either fully restored or replaced with parts meeting today's standards. This isn't a patch-up job. It's a considered reconstruction — one that preserves what still holds and reinforces what needs strengthening.
The result: a Lagoon 450 Neo ready for new seasons ahead, carrying all the robustness of the original model alongside the equipment of a modern yacht.
A refit like this isn't really something you can describe — it's something you experience. The VOGFLEET team will be at the Grande Motte nautical show with Lipopette berthed alongside. Come aboard, see the work for yourself, and get a real sense of what responsible sailing can look like when it's done with genuine conviction.
When you set sail on Lipopette—whether you’re renting it from VogFleet or taking a sailing course with VogWeek—you’ll be actively contributing to efforts to protect our environment.
