A tangible partnership for coral reef restoration

For several years, Lagoon has been actively partnering with Coral Guardian, an organization renowned for its hands-on efforts in coral reef restoration.
Through this collaboration, Lagoon directly contributes to coral replanting in Indonesia, on degraded reefs, while supporting local communities involved in these regeneration projects.

Last year, this partnership enabled the replanting of approximately 1,600 corals, and in the first half of this year, 3,543 corals have already been restored on the Hatamin Reef in Indonesia. This significant progress clearly demonstrates the real impact of this collaboration on ocean preservation.

Measurable and sustainable actions

Beyond the numbers, Coral Guardian provides detailed information on restored reefs, regenerated areas, and observed ecological benefits.
These insights help measure the effectiveness of the actions and highlight the reach of this partnership, built on sustainable and responsible initiatives to protect marine biodiversity.

How to contribute to ocean protection

As the holiday season approaches, Lagoon wants to shine a light on the vital work of Coral Guardian and inspire its community to get involved, particularly through the “Adopt a Coral” program.
This initiative offers a simple and direct way to participate in marine ecosystem regeneration and protect the oceans we love to sail.

Supporting Coral Guardian means taking tangible action for the future of our oceans, contributing to the preservation of coral reefs, the true pillars of marine biodiversity.
