The Lagoon 47 shortlisted for Multihull of the Year at the British Yachting Awards 2026

Every year, British magazines Sailing Today and Yachts & Yachting invite their readers to vote for the boats that have made their mark on the season. The Lagoon 47 is competing in the Multihull of the Year category, following the Lagoon 38’s Highly Commended recognition in the same category last year. This is a proud achievement for the entire Lagoon team.

What makes the Lagoon 47 stand out is, first and foremost, the way it was conceived. From the earliest stages of the project, Lagoon gathered feedback and ideas from its users: owners, sailors, partners and teams in the field. Their insights guided the design teams: VPLP Design developed the naval architecture, Patrick le Quément designed the exterior, and Nauta Design created the interior layouts.

The result is a comfortable, innovative catamaran, featuring five standout design choices.

A 12 m² forward cockpit, seamlessly connected to the saloon

A door provides direct access between the saloon and the forward cockpit. At 12 m², this space becomes a fully fledged living area, while allowing easy movement from bow to stern.

A flybridge that extends the living spaces

A spacious bench seat, coffee table and sunbathing areas create a new living space on board. Wherever you look, the ocean is always in view.

A smart room that adapts to every crew

Whether used as an office, an additional cabin or a flexible space, the smart room can be configured to suit the way you sail. The Lagoon 47 is available in layouts ranging from 3 to 5 cabins, accommodating 6 to 13 people.

Two atmospheres inspired by the Mediterranean

Panarea, soft and soothing, and Sorrento, sun-drenched and vibrant, give the Lagoon 47 two distinctive personalities.

A connected boat, ready to sail

With Seanapps, the Lagoon 47 lets you remotely monitor battery status, fuel and water levels, and maintenance schedules, while planning routes directly from your smartphone.

Under sail, it offers up to 128 m² of sail area upwind and a shallow 1.25 m draft. It also carries 860 litres of fuel and 700 litres of water, and is CE-certified in Category A.
