The Lagoon 43: the evolution of a world best-seller
Previewed at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2024, the Lagoon 43 succeeds the Lagoon 42 — the best-selling cruising catamaran of all time, with over 1,000 units built. A remarkable legacy, embraced with ambition.
Designed by VPLP Design, with exterior styling by Patrick le Quément and interiors by Nauta Design, the Lagoon 43 pushes the boundaries of livability within its size class.
Its redesigned hulls, wider at the bow, deliver more spacious cabins with semi-island double beds in every stateroom. Living space is organized across three levels, with a versatile layout designed to adapt to any occasion — whether sailing as a couple, with family or among friends, the table can be set for 6 or 12 guests alike.
Among its standout innovations: an additional side entry on each hull, which redefines onboard accessibility and makes docking that much simpler.
With 105 m² of sail area and up to 13 berths, the Lagoon 43 is designed equally for private owners and the charter market.
