A hundred partners and sailing enthusiasts gathered at the Lagoon Exclusive Days to celebrate the naming of the Lagoon EIGHTY 3 — a landmark moment for the brand.

A new way to live on the ocean

With over 4,300 sq ft of living space, the EIGHTY 3 belongs in a category of its own.

It is the realization of an uncompromising vision: pushing the boundaries of comfort, elegance and innovation to redefine what it means to live at sea.

The result of an outstanding creative collaboration — VPLP Design for naval architecture, Patrick le Quément for exterior design, and Nauta Design for interiors — this 79-foot catamaran embodies the brand's DNA in its very form: French craftsmanship and expertise, in service of those who refuse to choose between open waters and ultimate luxury.

The strength of a collective

For Thomas Gailly, Managing Director of Lagoon Catamarans, the naming ceremony was above all an opportunity to pay tribute to those who made the impossible possible. Women and men — designers, electricians, engineers, joiners, captains, software developers, mechanics… more than 50 different trades — whose skill and dedication shaped every detail of this extraordinary yacht.

In a deeply symbolic gesture, 40 representatives from the production teams were invited on stage to receive a standing ovation from a moved audience. A way for Lagoon to affirm a core belief: behind every great boat, there are first and foremost remarkable people.

The Bordeaux shipyard where the EIGHTY 3 was born has a history of its own. For 40 years, these workshops have been crafting large vessels — first under the CNB banner with magnificent sailing yachts of nearly 100 feet, and today under the Lagoon name with catamarans that continue to push the boundaries of naval craftsmanship.

Thousands upon thousands of hours of construction. Hundreds of people. A tradition of expertise passed down from generation to generation.

An evening worthy of the occasion

The ceremony itself was a spectacle: 40 dancers took to the floor in a meticulously choreographed performance, where every movement, every sequence evoked the precision and harmony at the heart of building an EIGHTY 3.

A powerful image, and a deliberate one: bringing a catamaran of this scale to life is exactly that — a collective endeavor, a score performed by hundreds of voices, each step interlocking with the next in perfect order.

A flagship for a new era

The EIGHTY 3 leads the Lagoon power catamaran range with a clear ambition: to make life on board a truly unparalleled experience.

A panoramic saloon bathed in natural light. An owner's suite with a private terrace and direct water access. Bespoke finishes — natural stone, woven leather, handcrafted woodwork — for an interior that speaks more of a contemporary residence than a traditional yacht.

And beneath all that elegance, a vessel engineered for long-range exploration.

The EIGHTY 3 is the boat for those who refuse to choose. Between voyage and comfort. Between exploration and refinement. Between the ocean and home.
